Hiring Quality Inspector
Job Description
As a Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of products through various stages of inspection. You will perform receiving inspections, in-process inspections, and final QA audits while maintaining thorough records and interfacing with multiple departments.
Responsibilities
- Perform receiving inspections.
- Conduct appropriate transactions in internal systems.
- Carry out in-process inspections as required.
- Perform final QA audits of products as needed.
- Utilize hand tools such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
- Maintain receiving inspection files.
- Pull prints from files or electronic databases.
- Interpret prints for measuring parts.
- Interface with Purchasing, Engineering, and Shipping/Receiving departments.
- Be flexible with the schedule and available for Saturdays and overtime as needed.
- Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3+ years in engineering, manufacturing, QA inspection, and test required.
- Eligibility to obtain any required Export Authorization.

Work Environment
This role is based in a manufacturing facility. You will work with various departments including Purchasing, Engineering, and Shipping/Receiving. Flexibility in your schedule is required, including availability for Saturdays and overtime as needed.
